Welcome to Purple Mountain Events LLC!

Purple Mountain Events is a community-focused fitness event company based in the heart of Colorado Springs. Veteran owned and Volunteer operated. At Purple Mountain Events, we believe in building more than competitions — we build connections, community, and confidence through elite-level fitness events designed for every athlete.

Our Mission

Unite the Colorado fitness community through exceptional events that inspire, challenge, and engage. We believe in the power of fitness to transform lives and build strong, supportive communities. Each event is structured and planned to ensure an unforgettable experience for everyone involved, from the competitors to the cheering crowds. We create opportunities.

Our community is deep & vast. We truly believe that a rising tide raises all ships. We pride ourselves on working, uniting, and collaborating with as many affiliates, companies, and individuals as possible to help us ensure that we can run amazing events that help and support as many people as possible.

Preston Shepard | Purple Mountain Events LLC - Founder

A lifelong athlete, coach, and community connector who saw the need for fitness events that go beyond competition. With a background in event planning, coaching, and gym culture, Preston launched Purple Mountain to create spaces where people feel seen, challenged, and celebrated.

As a former U.S. Army Officer with eight years of honorable service, Preston brings discipline, leadership, and mission-driven purpose to every event he leads. His passion for the sport and the people behind it is what fuels the mission — and what makes each event feel like something bigger.
