Athletes and spectators can expect to enter through the marked building entrances on the west and east side of the filed house. Please follow the marked signs There are no tickets required for spectators not competing.
SCHEDULE
Friday June 21st
Pre - Athlete Check in - Time: 1pm -6pm (Main Venue)
Saturday June 22nd:
Doors Open - 5:30AM
Athlete Check In - Time: 6:00AM
Athlete Brief - Time: 6:30AM
Workouts 1-3 - Time: 730AM - 5:00PM
Sunday June 23rd:
Athlete Check In - Time: 6:00AM
Athlete Brief - Time: 6:30AM
Workouts 4-6 Time: 730AM - 5:00PM
Award Ceremony - 6:00PM
ATHLETE CHECK-IN
All Athletes need to be present for initial check in. Check in will occur each morning of competition. (See schedule)
WORKOUTS/SCORING
Scoring will be a points table style scoring system (i.e. 100 points for 1st place workout finish, 95 points for 2nd place workout finish, etc.). All workouts will be released prior to the event.
WEATHER CONCERNS
Most of the event will take place inside the venue however the event will be monitoring FOX21 Local news for all weather updates and will push out any changes to workouts or scheduling over social media and live announcements during the event.
PHOTO PACKAGES
Photo & Video packages will be available to purchase during registration and prior to the event through the PMT Media team. Photo packages are the only way to guarantee receiving photos at The Purple Mountain Throwdown. Photos & Videos will be emailed to athletes who purchase a photo package following the event. Teams can not buy an individual photo package. Teams must purchase a team photo package.

PARKING
Main parking will be available in the parking lot west of the venue and south of the baseball field at 5331 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs CO 80918. Parking is only available in open parking lot and approved spots while on the UCCS Campus please obey all posted signs and regulations. Overflow parking will be located in Yellow Field - Eagle Rock Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. Athletes and Spectators are NOT allowed to tailgate in the Overflow lot. Athlete village is the ONLY area where Tents and other items are allowed
ATHLETE VILLAGE
Athlete Village will be located in a marked area of the parking lot west of the venue and south of the baseball field at 5331 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs CO 80918. Athletes are encouraged to bring a tent and chairs set up between events. Group are highly encouraged to share tents and tent space.
SPECTATOR TICKETS
No spectator tickets will be required for this year’s competition.
FOOD/DRINK
Food and drink will be available to purchase at Food Trucks present at the event.

FAQs
– Only athletes will be allowed in the warm-up area
-Dogs are not allowed in the venue
– Onsite medical staff will be present (Colorado Center of Orthopedic Excellence)
– Spectators and athletes can bring cameras and are encouraged to document their experience! The purple Mountain Throwdown reserves the right to ask any spectator to stop taking photos. Only the PMT Media Team will be allowed on the event floor
-Spectators are not permitted on the competition floor
-Athletes are only allowed to be on the competition floor during their assigned heat
-Use of the competition floor rig for warm-up is prohibited. A rig will be available in the warm-up area for all athletes.
-There will be a separate area designed for athlete and vendors. Athletes are encouraged to bring chairs to sit in while they are not competing.
-Tents will be allowed in the athlete village. Please take all weather into consideration
