Event Policies

Purple Mountain Throwdown Registration Policy

Registering for the Purple Mountain Throwdown is a commitment — to yourself, to your fellow competitors, and to the community that makes this event possible.

When you purchase a registration spot, you reserve a place on the competition floor, and our team immediately begins planning, programming, and allocating resources around your participation. Please read this policy carefully before you register.

Refunds

All refunds are issued at the sole and full discretion of Purple Mountain Events LLC. Purchasing a registration does not guarantee or entitle you to a refund under any circumstances.

Once Registration Closes

When registration closes for the year — on May 31st 2026, or once capacity is reached, whichever comes first — all sales are final. After that point, if you withdraw, drop out, or are unable to compete for any reason, including injury, illness, scheduling conflicts, travel, or personal circumstances, you should expect not to receive a refund.

Transfers & Deferrals

We know life happens. Both individual athletes and teams may transfer their registration to another eligible competitor, or defer their entry to the following year's Purple Mountain Throwdown, by working directly with our team no later than 5 days before the first day of competition.

Transfer and deferral requests cannot be accommodated within 5 days of the event. To start a request, email PurpleMountainEvents@Gmail.com.

Event Changes, Postponement & Cancellation

The Purple Mountain Throwdown is a rain-or-shine event. For the safety of athletes, volunteers, and spectators, Purple Mountain Events reserves the right to delay, shorten, relocate, move indoors, or otherwise modify the competition format at any time.

Schedule or format adjustments made for weather or safety reasons are not considered a cancellation and do not entitle participants to a refund.

If Purple Mountain Events cancels a full day of competition or the entire event, registered athletes will receive a credit toward the following year's Purple Mountain Throwdown.

Purple Mountain Events is not liable for any costs incurred by participants — including travel, lodging, or related expenses — in the event of any delay, modification, postponement, or cancellation caused

by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disaster, loss of venue, public-health orders, or government action.
